7 new features that fans are clamoring for in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl

Many fans are looking forward to the arrival of the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl. However, they are also confident that these re-releases will include some new features compared to the original Nintendo DS games.

For this reason, a list has recently been published through CBR where they mention 7 changes that would undoubtedly be interesting to see in the Pokémon Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl for Nintendo Switch. It remains to be seen if they are finally implemented or maintained as in the original version.

They are as follows:

• There will be no MO similar to the latest deliveries
• Return of the Battle Front, something present in Platinum
• Fans want the Underground and the Pokéwatch to return too
• Return of Mega evolutions
• Own chapters for singular Pokémon such as Darkrai, Shaymin, Manaphy, Heatran, and Regigigas Also Rotom or Arceus
• Giratina and other Platinum elements, something that does not seem too far-fetched considering that elements of this third version have already been seen
• Connection with Pokémon Legends: Arceus, so that this title becomes a prequel or something similar to Diamond and Pearl

Indeed, fans seem to be more excited about Legends than about the long-awaited Sinnoh remakes. Countless memes flooded the classic r/pokemon subreddit, with many posts expressing disappointment at BD & SP. Only time will tell, but as of right now, the entire future of the franchise seems to rest on Arceus’ shoulders.
