Disney Dreamlight Valley: Breaking Bones (Quest) Walkthrough

After completing the second quest and leveling up friendships with Scar, you’ll unlock another friendship quest of Scar named “Breaking Bones” in which you have to find a way to break the big bones coming out of the ground in the Sunlit Plateau biome.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to complete the Breaking Bones quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Breaking Bones

Talk to Scar and he’ll tell you to talk to Scrooge Mc Duck and when you talk to Scrooge, he’ll give you a Mold for your Shovel to make it strong enough to remove the bones from the ground. Go back to Scar and talk to him and he’ll tell you to make an upgrade for the Shovel to clear the bones from the ground. You need to gather the following resources to make the upgrade for your Shovel.

• 5x Lion Claws
• 5x Dry Wood
• 5x Iron Ingot

Dry Wood can be found in the Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and the Forgotten Lands biomes. These woods have a light color and can be found under the trees. Craft 5 Iron Ingots with Iron Ores and Coal Ores. After getting these two items, go to the Sunlit Plateau and you need to dig the Shining Marks on the ground near the Elephant Graveyard to get the Lion Claws. Dig 5 shining marks on the ground to get the Lion Claws. Once you’ve all the resources for the upgrade, go to the Crafting Station and craft the Lion’s Claw Shovel Head.

The Lion’s Claw Shovel Head will be in the Potion & Enchantment category. Craft the upgrade and it’ll store in your inventory. Open the inventory and use it to apply it to your Shovel. Now Scar will tell you to break the small Wildebeast bones littering in the Sunlit Plateau. Use the shovel on the bones to break it and when you break 5 of the bones, talk to Scar to conclude the quest.
