Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Hero’s Journey Update Launches on June 3

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s next free update, A Hero’s Journey, includes two new characters, a new Realm, a new Star Path, new premium shop items, events, and more. The devs have recently released the developer update trailer on their socials, giving a sneak peek at what is coming with the A Hero’s Journey Update, along with its release date. A New Realm and Two New Characters

As we know from the 2026 Roadmap, this new update revolves around a mythological adventure. This new update will bring a new Realm Door to the Dream Castle. Players will be able to unlock it with Dreamlight currency. After unlocking the Realm, players will have to restore Phil’s training island by joining forces with Hercules. Traverse through the forest and reach the gods to attain unique abilities that will help restore Phil’s training island. After players display their wits, they will be able to bring Hercules and Phil to the Dreamlight Valley.

Friendship Quests and Exclusive Rewards

After bringing Phil and Hercules to the Valley, players will be able to pursue their Friendship Quests. These quests will reward players with exclusive rewards, such as a new battle outfit, a woodland satyr outfit, and more.

New Star Path and Premium Shop Items

The Elements of Nature Star Path is ending next week on June 2. We will get a brand-new Star Path, Godly Glamor Star Path, with the A Hero’s Journey update on June 3. The official theme of the upcoming Star Path is inspired by Greek mythological fashion, offering new attire, ancient furniture, and more. In addition to this, we will get new premium shop items, including the following bundles.

• Hercules Bundle
• Glittering Dress Dream Style (Ariel)
• Blossoming Castle House Skin
• Rajah Companion Bundle

Returning and New Events

On June 10, 2026, Dreamlight Parks Fest event will take place, which will run until June 30, 2026. It is the returning event, in which players can find and collect buttons to earn previous and new rewards.

In addition to this event, a new Picture Pursuit event will take place on July 15, 2026, and run until July 28, 2026. During this new event, players will be able to complete new daily quests from certain villagers. These quests will require players to track and snap photos of motifs around the Valley. Collecting all motifs will reward players with an exclusive frame for Photo Mode.

New Features and Improvements

Alongside the new content, there are some new feature additions and improvements coming with the A Hero’s Journey update.

• Player Level Cap increasing to Level 50 (Previous Level Cap 40)
• Photo Mode improved for capturing photos from better angles.
• Forest of Valor and Glade of Trust rooms in Olaf’s Grand Exhibition.
• Decoration Preset (New Feature)
