Palia is hosting a new global event, Insect-A-Palooza, to celebrate the summer season. It is a brand-new community event in which all players can earn items by participating. The event begins at 3:00 PM (PT) on August 17 and will last until 3:00 PM (PT) on August 24, 2026. In this guide, we will tell you how to participate and what rewards you can get from Palia’s new global event, Insect-A-Palooza.

How to Participate in the Insect-A-Palooza Event in Palia

The Insect-A-Palooza Event is for everyone. Any player can participate in the event and contribute to the global goals to earn the rewards. To participate in the event, players must capture bugs across Palia. All bugs count towards the global goals of the event. In addition to the bugs across Palia, the new Shimmerflies also count towards the goals.

The best way to perform and enjoy the event is with others. Look for players gathered around for bug catching in Palia, and join in to help increase the progress. Moreover, the best method to catch bugs is by placing the Honey Lure to spawn bugs continuously. A Honey Lure lasts for 3 minutes, and it is best to gather as many players as you can to catch the bugs together. The more players are catching bugs at a time, the better.
