A Forgotten Name Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

A Forgotten Name is a new story quest for the Forgotten character in Disney Dreamlight Valley. This new quest was added with the recent Mysteries of Skull Rock update. With this update, players will finally unlock the Forgotten as a villager in the Valley and give it a proper name. In this guide, we will walk you through the A Forgotten Name quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete A Forgotten Name Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting the Quest

To start the A Forgotten Name quest, the player must speak to the Forgotten character. This quest will appear in the Quest Log after updating the game to the latest patch. Moreover, it is essential to complete the preliminary quests like The Remembering and Poetic License. Otherwise, this new quest will not trigger for you.

NOTE: A Forgotten Name quest will appear after 30 minutes of updating the game to the latest patch.

Speak to the Forgotten

Once the quest is available in the Quest Log, it is time to go and meet the Forgotten. Open the map to find the Forgotten and go to it. Speak to the Forgotten, and it will tell you that it found a feather near the Skull Rock. Go through the dialogues and then follow them to the Skull Rock.

Talk to the Forgotten outside the Skull Rock

After reaching the Skull Rock with the Forgotten, speak to it. It will mention that it senses a familiar feeling. Moreover, it is thankful to you that all the villagers welcome it to the Valley. However, the only thing that it is missing is a real name. Here, the game will give you three random name options for the Forgotten as well as an option for a custom name. Select the name option you want, and a brief cutscene will start.

The Forgotten will finally join the Valley as a true villager. Take a picture with the Forgotten to welcome it, and the quest will conclude. Moreover, the Shadows on the Wall quest will start automatically.

Completing the A Forgotten Name quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley unlocks the Forgotten character as a villager.
