A Growing Mystery Quest Guide in Disney Dreamlight Valley

A Growing Mystery is the new Realm quest for Cogsworth in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It was added with the latest Return to Beast’s Castle update. After locating Cogsworth, players must help the servants bring the castle back to working order. In this guide, we will walk you through the A Growing Mystery quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete A Growing Mystery Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting the Quest

A Growing Mystery quest starts automatically upon completing the Haunting of the Beast’s Castle quest for Lumiere. As players free Cogsworth from the garden and inform Lumiere, the A Growing Mystery quest will begin. Speak with Cogsworth and go through the dialogues to learn about restoring the garden.

Restore the Castle’s Rose Garden

Cogsworth will ask you to visit the Beast’s Room to find the Rose Seeds. Go to the Beast’s Room either from the front door or from the secret passage in the Library. Once there, interact with the storage box in the room to get 4 Rose Seeds.

Now, go back to the garden’s center and start clearing the area around the garden plots. Clear all the rocks and night thorns. Once done, interact with each garden plot to plant the Rose Seeds.

Craft the Rose Fertilizer for the Rose Bushes

After planting the Rose Seeds, speak with Cogsworth. He will tell you to craft a Rose Fertilizer and add it to your Watering Can. Go to the Crafting Station in the garden and interact with it. Navigate to the Potion & Enchantment tab to find the recipe for Rose Fertilizer. Craft one Rose Fertilizer and then use it from your inventory to add it to your Watering Can.

Once done, go back to the garden’s center and equip the Watering Can. Go close to each Rose Bush and once it highlights, press the action button to water it. As all the bushes will bloom rainbow roses, pick them up from the ground and show them to Cogsworth.

Place the Rainbow Roses in the Empty Vases

Now, go to the piano area close to the grand staircase at the start of the Realm to find three empty vases. Interact with each empty vase to place the Rainbow Roses in it. Once done, pick up the First Enigmatic Key and the Domestic Manual Page 2 from the floor.

Now, speak with Cogsworth and go through the dialogues to conclude the A Growing Mystery quest. Moreover, as you finish speaking with Cogsworth, the Belle, Book, and Candle quest will start automatically.
