A Long-Awaited Invitation Quest Walkthrough – Disney Dreamlight Valley

A Long-Awaited Invitation is a main story quest for the Lorekeeper in Disney Dreamlight Valley: Storybook Vale. This quest is exclusive to the owners of the Storybook Vale expansion. Players will be able to pursue this quest as they gain access to all the areas of Storybook Vale. This guide will walk you through the Long-Awaited Invitation quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete A Long-Awaited Invitation Quest – Walkthrough

Starting the Quest

To initiate A Long-Awaited Invitation quest, you will have to unlock all the areas of the Storybook Vale World. Moreover, you have to complete the Mount Olympus and The Mistress of All Evil quests. Once done, A Long-Awaited Invitation quest will trigger automatically.

Talk to the Lorekeeper for advice

The fiery rivals refuse to make peace with each other. You must speak with the Lorekeeper to gain more insight on how to end the fight between Maleficent and Hades. The Lorekeeper will advise you to solve the “The Spark of Spite” tale to learn more about their story.

Reorder “The Spark of Spite” Tale

Interact with the Lorekeeper and navigate to the Tales to find the Spark of Spite. It requires the following snippets to unlock the Spark of Spite Tale.

• 4x Neverafter Frog Snippet
• 3x Neverafter Demon Snippet

You catch both of these snippets during the respective quests for the fiery rivals. Unlock the Spark of Spite Tale and start laying the snippets to reorder the tale. It is best to start from the corners and then fill the borders on all sides. Once done, start filling up the center to complete the Spark of Spite tale. After reordering the Spark of Spite tale, speak with the Lorekeeper.

Gather the materials for the invitations

Now, you need to gather the following materials to craft the Neverafter Council Invitations.

• 3x Fuchsia Eternal Poppies: Forage from the ground in the Fiery Plains and Mount Olympus areas in the Mythopia biome.
• 3x Pink Rose: Forage from the ground in the Teapot Falls and The Beanstalk Marshes areas in the Everafter biome.
• 12x Petrified Wood: Break the wood pieces in the Bind and Everafter biomes using the Royal Pickaxe.
• 14x Fairy Bubbles: Clear the bubbling mushrooms in the Everafter biome using the Royal Watering Can.
• 14x Lightning Spice: Forage from the ground in all the areas of the Mythopia biome.

After gathering all the materials, go to any crafting station to craft the Neverafter Council Invitations. Interact with the crafting station and navigate to the Functional Items tab to find the recipe. Craft 2 invitations.

Invite the Villainous pair to the gathering

Now, go to Maleficent’s Castle and invite her to the gathering by giving her the invitation. After that, open the map to find Hades and go to him. Deliver him the invitation as well.

Go to the Meeting

After delivering the invitations, speak with the Lorekeeper to start the meeting. Listen to the conversation between Maleficent and Hades. After the conversation, Maleficent will vanish. Speak with the Lorekeeper and then go to Hades. GO through the dialogues, and the quest will conclude.
