A Toxic Trail Quest Guide in Arc Raiders

A Toxic Trail is a newly added quest for Shani with the recent Cold Snap update in Arc Raiders. This quest sends players back to the Water Treatment Control to further investigate the water situation. It is the continuation of the Source of the Contamination quest, so the players must first complete the prerequisite quest. In this guide, we will walk you through the A Toxic Trail quest for Shani in Arc Raiders.

A Toxic Trail Quest Walkthrough – Arc Raiders

A Toxic Trail is a brand-new quest for Shani in Arc Raiders, and it requires the player to visit the Water Treatment Center on the Dam Battlegrounds map. If you are familiar with the prerequisite quest, the player will have to further investigate the barrel contaminating the water. Here are all the objectives of the A Toxic Trail quest in Arc Raiders.

• Return to the water intake below the Water Treatment Control building
• Search the swamp for traces of the barrel’s origins
• Take a photo of the barrel truck
• Search the trunk for clues about the saboteur’s identity

NOTE: The player must complete the A Toxic Trail quest in ONE-GO. However, it is not necessary to safely extract after completing all the objectives.

Return to the water intake outside Water Treatment Control

After accepting this quest from Shani, join the raid on the Dam Battlegrounds map. Head to the water intake north of the Water Treatment Control building to find a Barrel inside the water. Once there, move around the barrel to trigger the checkmark for the objective. You do not have to interact with the barrel.

Search the swamp for traces of the barrel’s origins

Now, head west along the water to come across a vehicle with barrels. After finding the vehicle, go near it to take a photo of the barrel truck.

Search the trunk for clues about the saboteur’s identity

Now go to the front of the truck and interact with it to search the truck. A Spaceport Warehouse Key will drop on the ground. Pick it up and put it in the Safe Pocket, as it might be needed later in a new quest. Moreover, you can use it to open a door for some rare loot on the Spaceport map.

After completing the objectives of the quest, extract and turn in the quest to claim the following rewards.

• 3x Pulse Mine
• 3x Gas Mine
