Aniimo: How to Get an Umbral Aniimo

Putting together a perfect roster of Aniimo depends on different factors, with rarity being a crucial one. Although a Nova-form Aniimo is the last evolution of an Aniimo, an Aniimo with a high rarity level has more potential. As Prismana is one of the rarities of Aniimo, an Umbral Aniimo is rarer than it. The Umbral Aniimo is just below Legendary rarity, and it comes with Perfect Potential. In this guide, we will explain how to get an Umbral Aniimo in Aniimo.

How to Get an Umbral Aniimo

Umbral Aniimo is rarer than a Prismana Aniimo. Unlike Prismana Aniimo, players cannot make Umbral Aniimo spawn, as they spawn randomly either in Wild Surges or casually in the open world. In addition to finding Umbral Aniimo by luck, the guaranteed way of getting an Umbral Aniimo is through hatching the Umbral Aniimo Eggs. Players can acquire the Umbral Aniimo Eggs through Egg Heist Operation and by digging the Egg Nests.

NOTE: DO NOT evolve an Umbral Aniimo, as it will lose its Umbral rarity and skin on evolution.

Look for Umbral Aniimo in Wild Surges

As the Umbral Aniimo Eggs are not easy to come by and take hours (real-life time) to hatch, your best bet is to look for Umbral through Wild Surges. You can trigger the Wild Surge by initiating a nurture in a region. As the Wild Surge triggers, it attracts a lot of Aniimo to an area for a couple of minutes. The Umbral Aniimo has a chance to appear among the Aniimo in the area.

TIP: There is currently a regional event in the Forest of Falling Stars in which nurturing grants 50% more Prismatic Energy.

According to the community, a lot of players have reported that they have obtained Umbral Stellarys during the nurturing sequence. I highly recommend that you nurture the bloom in the Forest of Falling Stars to have a chance of getting the Umbral Stellarys.

Initiate the nurturing by offering Dark Shards, then teleport to the bloom and interact with it to trigger the Wild Surge. There is a chance that the Umbral Stellarys spawns among other Aniimo around the bloom.

TIP: If you spot an Umbral Stellarys, use the Sparkling Cube to get a Sparkling Umbral Stellarys. It is worth it.

However, it is not guaranteed that the Umbral Stellarys will spawn, but it is worth the shot, especially while the regional event is active. For finding Umbral Aniimo in general, your best bet is to trigger wild surges in different regions to see if you get lucky.
