Bethesda Softworks Releases Three New Starfield Animated Shorts That Show More Glimpses of Starfield Universe

The hype for Bethesda’s latest game, Starfield, has been continuously growing over the past few months. After the showcase of the XBOX and Bethesda for Starfield Direct in June, many high expectations have been set for the game. With over 1,000 planets to explore in the Starfield Universe, Bethesda Softworks has released three different animated shorts on their official YouTube Channel that showcase glimpses of the three major cities.

Each animated short tells a brief story of individuals and gives a few glimpses of the cities. Akila City, New Atlantis, and Pleasure City are the major cities shown in the recent animated shorts. The studio provided the following description in the press mail regarding the animated shorts: “Follow a delivery pilot in New Atlantis seeking the exciting life of the elite; a stranded orphan looking for a way out of Akila City; and two street rats struggling to survive in the underbelly of Neon.” All three of these major cities are part of the Settled Systems, which is the main setting of Starfield.

While players will get to customize and build their own spaceships, an interesting thing that caught the attention of the fans is the Mech Fight in the animated short “Where Hope is Built.” According to Todd Howard, there is no controllable ground vehicle in Starfield, but the developers have promised that new content and add-ons will be added to Starfield after the game’s launch.

Starfield is set to be released on September 6, 2023, on XBOX Series X & S and PC.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
