Brie Larson insists; would like to play Samus Aran (Metroid) in a movie

We all know actress Brie Larson as the heroine of Captain Marvel from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, her dream is to play the character of Samus Aran from Metroid games by Nintendo. Her passion for the character became more widely known when she published her Halloween photo on Instagram a few years ago, wearing a cheap, $ 20 Samus Aran suit.

For Halloween two years ago, I was dressed like Samus. 
It was literally a $ 20 costume I bought on Amazon. 
But I was excited about it, so I published it on Instagram. 
And the reaction of the people was amazing! 
I’ve always been the character I played for in Super Smash Bros. 
So, Nintendo, I’d love to go

Recently, on Gary Whitta’s Animal Talking talk show which takes place on his Animal Crossing island, he told Larson, “They all want you to play Samus, Brie. They all want you to be in a Metroid movie.”

“She was always the character I took on Super Smash Bros., and I loved her. So it all started [with the costume] and I certainly didn’t end this story, because I want to make this movie. I definitely want to participate in this. So Nintendo, again, I would love to do it, ”she concluded.

It seems Larson isn’t the only one behind the idea of her starring as Samus as the folks on Twitter seem to be behind the idea as well.
