Call of Duty: Modern Warfare outperforms Pokemon sword/shield in UK this week

Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare replaced Pokemon sword, which sales fell 58% to third (Pokemon sword sales fell 65%, from third to fifth). This is a pretty good second week for the Pokémon sowrd/shield, as the last major Pokémon game-the sun and the moon-dropped by more than 70% in the second week \

Of course, Call of Duty comes in many formats. In terms of a single format, Pokémon ranked first before PS4’s Modern Warfare.

According to GamesIndustry.biz, Nintendo’s switches performed very well overall as Black Friday boosted hardware and software sales.
