A new Halloween event, The Haunted Floating Festival, has begun in Disney Dreamlight Valley and is offering various spooky items. It is a limited-time event that will remain active until November 11, 2025. It is a brand-new event and the first of its kind in the Valley. This whole event takes place at a floating island in the sky, where players have to solve various puzzles to earn exclusive rewards. This is the complete guide to the Haunted Floating Festival event in Disney Dreamlight Valley, including the solution to all puzzles and rewards.

How to Complete the Haunted Floating Festival Event in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Haunted Floating Festival is a time-limited event, taking place at a temporary floating island in the sky from October 22, 2025, to November 11, 2025. During the 20 days of the event, players can visit the new floating island and solve the puzzles to earn the rewards. Initially, there are three puzzles available, and two more will unlock later during the event period. Moreover, most of the puzzles are time-gated, meaning they will require multiple days to complete. It is necessary that players visit the floating island daily to progress in the puzzles and unlock rewards.

How to Get to the Haunted Floating Festival Island

There are a couple of ways to get to the Haunted Floating Festival island to participate in the event. The first method is to find and interact with a mysterious new portal in the Plaza. Merlin will take you to the newly appeared portal in the Plaza. The new portal is at the center of the plaza, opposite the portal to the Dark Castle. Interact with the new portal to teleport to the Haunted Floating Festival island.

Alternatively, the players can use the quick “Teleport” button under the event tab of the game to get to the new floating island. To do so, open the Haunted Floating Festival section under the Event tab, and you will see the Teleport option on the page. Select the teleport option, and the player will spawn on the island.

All Puzzles of the Haunted Floating Festival Event

The Haunted Floating Festival has a total of five puzzles, of which three are available in the first week. The fourth puzzle will unlock in the second week, and the final puzzle will unlock in the third week.

Ghostly “Zero” Fox Puzzle Solution

The Ghostly “Zero” Fox puzzle requires players to find and feed the ghost critter on the island. It is a ghost fox critter and roams freely on the island. However, you can easily find it close to the Wishing Well on the island. The ghostly fox critter does not run away and lets you interact with it. You will have to feed its favorite food to progress through the puzzle.

The favorite food of the Zero Fox critter is “Haunted Skeleton Fish”. The player can find the haunted skeleton fish beside the Fox’s Gravestone. Go to the right of the Wishing Well and go along the path to the Town Hall, and then turn left. You will see a tub on the ground and the Fox’s Gravestone. The fish will be beside the gravestone. Pick up the skeleton fish and feed it to the ghostly critter.

As you feed the fox its favorite food, it will drop a memory orb. Pick up the memory orb to reveal a part of a new event memory. Players will have to complete the memory by acquiring three more memory orbs from feeding the ghostly critters. However, the ghostly critter only drops 1 memory orb per day, you will have to feed the skeleton fish to the critter for three more days to complete the memory.

Upon completing the memory, a dig spot will appear beside the Haunted Mansion. Dig up the sparkling spot to receive your reward for the Ghostly “Zero” Fox puzzle.

Combination Puzzle Solution

The Combination puzzle requires you to enter a correct combination of four symbols. Go to the Haunted Mansion, cross ahead to find the wall with four interactable blocks. The order of the combination is hinted at around the island. To find the order, look for green symbols and count the number of pumpkins near the symbols. To make it easy for you, you can find the green symbols at the Haunted Mansion, Zero Gravestone, the wall behind the Wishing Well, and the entrance wall to the Potion Brewer’s House.

Here is the correct combination of four symbols to complete the Combination Puzzle.

Bat
Witch’s Hat
Cat

Upon entering the combination of symbols correctly, a pouch will appear on the ground. Pick up the pouch and open it to receive your reward.

Terror-rific Tree Puzzle Solution

The Terror-rific Tree puzzle is located behind the Wishing Well. Go to the back side to find the Haunted Tree, and as you interact with it, you will see three slots for contributing items. Moreover, there will be a glowing yellow book on the ground, which tells you the items that you need to contribute to the Haunted Tree. Here are all the items that you need to contribute.

20 Haunted Crow Feathers: Spawns on the ground beside the scarecrow. 3 max at a time.
15 Haunted Skeleton Fish: Spawns on the ground beside Zero’s gravestone. 3 max at a time.
10 Haunted White Roses: Spawns on the ground in front of the Haunted Mansion. 3 max at a time.

It will take you some time to gather all of the items. Once you have all the items, go to the Haunted Tree and contribute them. After that, a pouch will drop, which you can pick up and open to receive your reward.

Potion Brewer’s House Puzzle Solution

Enter the Potion Brewer’s House on the floating island. Here, you will see a big cauldron with sparkling on it. The cauldron requires four different ingredients. There will be a book inside the house with all the ingredients mentioned.

A thorny bloom of white petals: 1x Haunted White Rose
A feline fish: 1x Catfish
Two fleshless fish: 2x Haunted Skeleton Fish
A fish that’s always en garde: 1x Swordfish

The Haunted White Rose spawns in the courtyard of the Haunted Mansion. You can find the Haunted Skeleton Fish near Zero’s gravestone. The Catfish spawns in the gold ripples in the Peaceful Meadow biome. Lastly, the Swordfish spawns in the gold ripples in the Dazzle Beach biome.

After gathering all of the ingredients, go back to the potion house. Interact with the cauldron and add all the ingredients to it. As you add all the ingredients, a Haunted Pouch will appear. Open the pouch to receive the Black Cauldron as a reward.

Haunted Mansion Puzzle Solution

The Haunted Mansion is the final puzzle of the Haunted Floating Festival event. The Haunted Mansion will be accessible now for the player to enter and pursue the final puzzle. Upon entering the Haunted Puzzle, go and interact with the Haunted Armor figure to begin the puzzle. The player must answer the four questions of the Haunted Armor correctly to complete the puzzle. As you answer all of the questions correctly, a Haunted Pouch will appear on the floor. Pick up the pouch and open it from the inventory to receive the Haunted Armor figure as a reward.
