How to Complete the Winter Floating Festival Event in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Winter Floating Festival is a time-limited event, taking place at a temporary floating island in the sky from January 7, 2026, to January 28, 2026. During the 20 days of the event, players can visit the new floating island and solve the puzzles to earn the rewards. Initially, there are three puzzles available, and two more will unlock later during the event period. Moreover, most of the puzzles are time-gated, meaning they will require multiple days to complete. It is necessary that players visit the floating island daily to progress in the puzzles and unlock rewards.

How to Get to the Winter Floating Festival Island

There are a couple of ways to get to the Winter Floating Festival island to participate in the event. The first method is to find and interact with a mysterious new portal in the Plaza. Merlin will take you to the newly appeared portal in the Plaza. The new portal is at the center of the plaza, opposite the portal to the Dark Castle. Interact with the new portal to teleport to the Winter Floating Festival island.

Alternatively, the players can use the quick “Teleport” button under the event tab of the game to get to the new floating island. To do so, open the Winter Floating Festival section under the Event tab, and you will see the Teleport option on the page. Select the teleport option, and the player will spawn on the island.

Where to Find the Festive Cocoa Bean on the Floating Island

The Festive Cocoa Bean is a special resource exclusive to the Winter Floating Festival Island. It is a crucial resource that players have to gather frequently to cook the special “Hot Cocoa” Meals. The Hot Cocoa Meals are also exclusive to the event and are essential to solving puzzles.

The spawn point of the Festive Cocoa Bean is around the picnic blanket behind the Arendelle Castle on the island. Go straight from the wishing well and then turn left. Continue along the path ahead, and you will spot the Arendelle Castle on the right. Go behind the castle to spot a picnic blanket on the ground. The Festive Cocoa Bean spawns around the picnic blanket on the ground. Only 5 Festive Cocoa Beans spawn at a time. Moreover, it takes about 5 minutes for each Festive Cocoa Bean to spawn.

How to Unlock the Hot Cocoa Meal Recipes on the Floating Island

After learning where to find the Festive Cocoa Bean, it’s time to know how to unlock the Hot Cocoa Meal recipes. There are three Hot Cocoa Meals in total, and each one has a unique recipe. To find the recipe for Hot Cocoa Meals, you need to find and loot the Red Chests around the Winter Floating Island. Here are the locations of the Red Chests on the Winter Floating Island.

1. Left of the Wishing Well.
2. Beside the counter table with the Golden Book.
3. Beside a small pond in the Candy Fence area, right of the Wishing Well.

Upon looting each Red Chest, you will get a Hot Cocoa Meal recipe. Open the inventory and read all three recipes to learn about the ingredients. In addition to unlocking the recipes, there is a Cooking Station at the back of the Wishing Well. Go to the end to find the Cooking Station. You can use it to cook the Hot Cocoa Meals to complete the puzzles.

Here are the recipes for all special Hot Cocoa Meals in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

1. Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa: 1x Festive Cocoa Bean, 1x Sugarcane, 1x Milk, and 1x Blueberry.
2. Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa: 1x Festive Cocoa Bean, 1x Sugarcane, 1x Milk, and 1x Cherry.
3. Festive Mint Hot Cocoa: 1x Festive Cocoa Bean, 1x Sugarcane, 1x Milk, and 1x Mint.

All Puzzles of the Winter Floating Festival Event

The Winter Floating Festival has a total of five puzzles, of which three are available in the first week. The fourth puzzle will unlock in the second week, and the final puzzle will unlock in the third week.

Frosty Rabbit Puzzle Solution

The Frosty Rabbit puzzle requires players to find and feed the big rabbit critter on the island. The rabbit critter roams freely on the island. However, you can easily find it close to the Wishing Well on the island. The frosty rabbit critter does not run away and lets you interact with it. You will have to feed the Frosty Rabbit a correct Hot Cocoa Meal of the day. For every day of the week, there is a unique Hot Cocoa of the day.

• Monday: Festive Mint Hot Cocoa
• Tuesday: Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa
• Wednesday: Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa
• Thursday: Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa
• Friday: Festive Mint Hot Cocoa
• Saturday: Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa
• Sunday: Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa

As you feed the rabbit the correct Hot Cocoa of the day, it will drop a memory orb. Pick up the memory orb to reveal a part of a new event memory. Players will have to complete the memory by acquiring three more memory orbs from feeding the rabbit. However, the rabbit critter only drops 1 memory orb per day, so you will have to feed the critter for three more days to complete the memory.

As you complete the memory, it will reveal the location for a golden dig spot on the island. Dig up the sparkling spot to receive a Winter Floating Festival Pouch containing the reward for the puzzle.

Winter Chocolate Fountain Puzzle Solution

The Winter Chocolate Fountain puzzle is located in the center of the island. It is an empty chocolate fountain that you can reach from multiple sides. Interact with the fountain to see three slots for contributing items. Moreover, there will be a glowing yellow book on the counter, which tells you the items that you need to contribute to the chocolate fountain.

Here are all the items that you need to contribute.

• 15x Festive Blueberry Hot Cocoa: Cook at a cooking station using Festive Cocoa Bean, Blueberry, Sugarcane, and Milk.
• 10x Festive Cherry Hot Cocoa: Cook at a cooking station using Festive Cocoa Bean, Cherry, Sugarcane, and Milk.
• 20x Festive Mint Hot Cocoa: Cook at a cooking station using Festive Cocoa Bean, Mint, Sugarcane, and Milk.

It will take you some time to gather the ingredients, especially the Festive Cocoa Bean. Once you have all the items, go to the chocolate fountain and contribute them. After that, a pouch will drop, which you can pick up and open to receive your reward.

Winter Combination Pillar Puzzle Solution

The Winter Combination Pillar puzzle requires you to enter a correct combination of four symbols. Go to the back of the Wishing Well and cross the bridge to find the wall with four interactable blocks. The order of the combination is hinted at around the island. To find the order, look for the number of hats of the type Snowmen are wearing on the island. For instance, there are four Snowmen with a Beanie; it means the number four symbol will be the Beanie.

Here is the correct combination of four symbols to complete the Combination Puzzle.

1. Bow
2. Top Hat
3. Cap
4. Beanie

Upon entering the combination of symbols correctly, a pouch will appear on the ground. Pick up the pouch and open it to receive your reward.

Street Lamps Puzzle Solution

The Street Lamps puzzle requires you to fix the 12 Lampposts around the Winter Floating Festival Island. The Street Lampposts will be broken and will have a blue electric effect on them. To fix the Lampposts, you will have to place a matching color of Shiny Gem in each one of them. For instance, if you go to a Red Lamppost, you need to put a Red Color Shiny Gem inside it to fix it.

NOTE: The Gem must be Shiny. The regular gems will not fix the Lampposts.

There are four different colors of lampposts on the island: 3 red, 3 green, 3 blue, and 3 yellow. You need to place 1 Shiny Gem of matching color in each lamppost.

The Frosty Fortress is the final puzzle of the Winter Floating Festival event. The Frosty Fortress will be accessible now for the player to enter and pursue the final puzzle. Upon entering the Frosty Fortress, go and interact with the Snowman figure to begin the puzzle. The player must answer the five Snowman’s questions correctly to complete the puzzle.

As you answer all of the questions correctly, a Winter Pouch will appear on the floor. Pick up the pouch and open it from the inventory to receive the reward.
