To A New Place Quest Walkthrough – Dave the Diver: In the Jungle

Although it is not necessary to complete the main game’s storyline to trigger the introductory quest for the In the Jungle expansion, it is best to do so, mainly for story comprehension. If you have purchased the DLC and have made it past the original game’s prologue, you will get the option to start the DLC. Select the option to initiate the DLC, and you will get a visit from Dr. Bacon.

Dr. Bacon will invite you and Cobra to investigate a lake in the Jungle. Go through the dialogue, and he will ask you to convince Bancho as well, as he can impress villagers with his cooking skills. After speaking with Dr. Bacon, interact with the boat and head to Bancho Sushi.

Speak with Bancho and convince him to come to the jungle with everyone. Go through the dialogues, and Bancho will agree to come. At the end of the conversation, Dr. Bacon will tell you to give him a call when you are ready to leave.

Now, you can choose to either call Dr. Bacon straightaway and trigger the cutscene to go to the Jungle, or do some chores for upgrades. Once you are ready, equip the phone and call Dr. Bacon. Accept to go to the Jungle, and the To A New Place quest will conclude.
