Deltarune: How to Get the Secret Egg in Chapter 5

The secret eggs are the mysterious collectible items in Deltarune. In each chapter of Deltarune, there is one secret egg that players can find by solving a puzzle. The location for all secret eggs is not disclosed to the players, so the players find them naturally through exploration. However, for players who are trying to collect every trophy, it is essential to find the eggs. For now, there are only five chapters available in Deltarune, and each chapter has one egg. In this guide, we will explain how to get the secret egg in Chapter 5 of Deltarune.

How to Get the Secret Egg in Chapter 5 – Deltarune

Chapter 5: Festival Day is the latest chapter in Deltarune that takes place in the Flower Kingdom. To get to the secret egg, you must first progress through the chapter until you find the Petal Feather after defeating Aqua. The Petal Feather is a key item that you can use to access the Mysterious Structures in Chapter 5 to progress and explore new areas. You specifically need to head to the Cliffs area, where you will reach a Shop.

From the shop, go to the right side to enter a wheat field with flying enemies. Defeat the enemies and cross the field. Once done, you will see a Torii Gate ahead. Go through the gate to sprint across the field while clearing all the wheat. On the other side of the field, there will be another Torii Gate. You need to go back and forth on this field repeatedly to clear all the wheat.

At the end, there will be one wheat block that will respawn a few times. Clear it again and again until a blue balloon appears out of it. Now, follow the balloon to the left side, and it will take you to a new area.

Reveal the Secret Area to the Secret Egg

Once you are in a new room, you will see a dog attached to a pink balloon. The dog will follow a certain pattern, pointing to the flowers. You must interact with the flowers in the correct order. Follow the dog and interact with the flower when the dog is descending. Repeat it for all six flowers in the room, and a watering can will appear in the center.

Pick up the watering can and go to the left side to reveal the path using the watering can. However, the dog will chase you and put the watering can back. Wait for the dog to go to the right side of the room, then take the watering can to run to the left side. Go to the end of the path to enter a secret room with a tree.

Walk up to the tree, and you will get the “He is behind the tree” message. Go to the back of the tree to trigger a series of dialogues. During the dialogue, you will get the secret egg from the man behind the tree.
