Diablo IV Season of Blood Announcement, Coming in October

On the Opening Night Live of Gamescom 2023, a lot of games were showcased and world premiered. Blizzard was also attending the Gamescom and they had some major updates as well regarding Diablo IV that they disclosed at the stage of Gamescom with Gemma Chan. Rod Fergusson disclosed the upcoming Season, Season of Blood in October with new themes and horrors that will take place in the World of Sanctuary.

The Season of Blood will have a new companion named Erys who is a vampire hunter and players will get to join her in the main adventure of Season of Blood. Like the Season of Malignant, there will be all new quests and Rod added that there will be five new and returning bosses in the Season of Blood. There will also be changes regarding renown rewards, gem and stash storage, and resistance and status effects in the Season of Blood.

Diablo also released a trailer for the new Season of Blood that gives a sneak peek at the horrors that players will get to encounter in the upcoming season. The main boss of the Season of Blood will be a powerful vampire that players will get to reach and eliminate with Erys. Other than joining her in the adventure, players’ characters will also get vampiric powers in the new season that they will get to use and create new exciting builds for their characters.

With these exciting new features, fans of Diablo IV can expect a really intense and fun gaming time in the World of Sanctuary.
