Diablo IV Warns Players Against Using Game Modifiers

Diablo IV offers a pretty vast world experience that players originally uncover in hundreds of hours. As unlocking every region, dungeon, and important point of interest makes the game a lot easier in the end game, some players started using the TurboHUD4 software that provides various benefits in the game. TurboHUD4 is mainly used to highlight all of the dungeon maps, hidden resources, NPCs, and much more on the screen of the player for better visualization of the game. However, it is prohibited by Diablo IV and they specifically called TurboHUD4 software as a violation of game agreements.

Similar software was also used in Diablo III and Devs were not happy at that time as well with the violation of their game. Like Diablo IV, Diablo III was also an online game and it requires players to stay connected to the internet to progress in the game. The third-party software helped the players to get through the game quicker as all the items were highlighted on their screen. Now, players started to do the same thing with Diablo IV and Adam Fletcher, the community leader posted on Blizzard Forums about this situation.

Adam Fletcher stated against the players who use the unauthorized modifiers in Diablo IV: “We want to make it clear that TurboHUD4, like any game-modifying software, is prohibited for use with Diablo IV. Players who install this kind of software will put their accounts at risk for disciplinary action, which can include permanent suspension.”

Diablo IV has made it clear that they will Perma Ban the players who are caught using the TurboHud4 or any unauthorized modifier in Diablo 4. They want to keep the World of Sanctuary equal for every player on the server and this might be the step that prevents players from even downloading the software.
