Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Blue Ink

As players progress through the main quests of the characters of the valley, they will get to craft many unique items at the crafting station. Some of the items are straightforward forward but some are very confusing. One of the items that you will have to make during the quest named “Definition of a Hero” is Blue Ink.

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to get Blue Ink in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

What is Blue Ink Required for?

Once players have leveled up Friendship level up to 10 with Buzz, they will unlock Buzz Lightyear’s last quest named “The Definition of a Hero” in the current update. Buzz will like to settle things with Ursula along with starting his own Academy named “Star Command Academy” for which he needs to gather some characters by sending out the invitation. He will tell the players to give the invitation of “Space Ranger Badges” for which players will need to gather Blue Ink.

Crafting Blue Ink

Blue Ink is not a natural resource or a general item that you can find somewhere in the Valley. However, you will have to craft Blue Ink by gathering the required items for it. As you will have to give badges to three different characters so, you will be crafting 3x Blue ink. The required items for Blue Ink are the following.

• 6x Blue Hydrangea
• 9x Blueberry
• 3x Empty Vial

Blue Hydrangeas only grow on Dazzle Beach so, you will have to make your way to the Dazzle Beach biome and look for the blue flowers. Grab a total of 6 Blue Hydrangeas to complete the first item in the required list of items. Blueberry can also be found on the Dazzle Beach biome so look for the bushes with blueberries on them. You need to harvest three bushes to get 9 Blueberries which will complete the second item needed for the Blue Ink. The last item is an Empty Vial which cannot be found out in the valley but you will have to craft it.

One Empty Vial will require 5x Sand and 1x Coal Ore. So, for three Empty Vials, you will be needing a total of 15x Sand and 3x Coal Ore. Sand can be obtained by digging on the beach so go to the Dazzle Beach biome to obtain the sand. Coal Ores are obtained by mining the Black Colored Rocks along the boundary of all the biomes. After gathering all the materials for Empty Vial, you have completed the items in the required list of items.

Make your way to the Crafting Station and go to the Functional Items tab to see the Blue Ink item. Select the Blue Ink to craft 3x Blue Ink with the gathered materials.

After that, you will be able to give the Space Ranger Badges to the characters in the valley and invite them to the Grand Opening of Star Command Academy.
