Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Get Pixel Shards

Pixel Shard is a unique crafting material in Disney Dreamlight Valley introduced with “The Pumpkin King Returns” update starring a new villager, Jack Skellington. Unlike the regular crafting materials, the Pixel Shards only appear when joined up with another player using the multiplayer.

How to Get Pixel Shards in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Pixel Shard is a unique crafting material that spawns randomly on the ground in the Valley every five minutes when joined up with another player using the multiplayer mode. The multiplayer mode is accessed from the game’s title screen and entering a certain code provided by your friend will let you join him. Moreover, if you place the Valley Visit Station in the Valley and use it, a random code will be generated which then can be shared with your friends.

Upon joining up with any one of your friends, the Pixel Shards will start spawning randomly. Keep your eyes peeled on the ground to look for the Pixel Shards to pick them up.

NOTE: The spawn location of Pixel Shards is random and different for every player. Meaning, your friend might not see a Pixel Shard on their screen as yours.

How to Use Pixel Shards in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Pixel Shards are used for crafting the following items at the Crafting Station.

• 5x Pixel Shard Duplicates – 5x Pixel Shard
• 12x Pixel Shard Duplicates – 10x Pixel Shard
• 1x Pixelized Cooking Flame – 5x Pixel Shard
• 1x Superior Pixelized Cooking Flame – 10x Pixel Shard
