Trick or Treat Event is back in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it is bigger than ever. This year’s Halloween event in DDV offers returning and new rewards, alongside some new additions. Although the premise of the event revolves around gathering candies, completing duties, and crafting exclusive furniture items, players can now trick-or-treat with up to five villagers every day. Not only that, but it is a new way of earning daily candies for the event. In this guide, we will explain how to do Trick or Treat with villagers in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Trick or Treat with Villagers in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Trick or Treat event runs from October 14 to October 31 in Disney Dreamlight Valley. During the event, players can trick or treat with five villagers per day. These villagers include Jack Skellington, Mickey Mouse, WALL-E, Daisy, and Stitch. It is a one-time interaction with each villager per day. All five of these villagers will have a lit Jack-o’-Lantern outside their house. To initiate a trick-or-treat interaction with the villager, interact with the lit lantern. This interaction will give you 5x Red Candy, 5x Green Candy, and 5x Purple Candy. If you do trick-or-treat with all five villagers in a day, you get 25 candies of each type.

It is a simple interaction method, and it gets you more candies than searching for the daily candy buckets in the Plaza. Not only that, but this new interaction is also crucial for completing the new duties in this year’s Trick or Treat event. One of these duties requires multiple days to complete, so it is best that you do all five interactions every day.

The trick-or-treat interactions reset after the daily reset, allowing you to redo all the interactions for all the candies. This is the best way of acquiring candies that are crucial for all the exclusive crafting recipes.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
