Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Unlock Hercules Realm

The new free update of Disney Dreamlight Valley, A Hero’s Journey, is finally here. It contains a lot of new content for the players, along with a new Star Path, items, cosmetics, quests, and characters. The two main new characters in this update are Phil and Hercules. They are originally from Disney’s Hercules movie. Players will be able to unlock them once they have access to the Hercules Realm and complete the main realm story quests. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock the Hercules Realm in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Unlock the Hercules Realm in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Requirements for Unlocking the Hercules Realm

The old players of the game might have an idea of how to unlock the new Realms, but if you are a new player and trying to unlock the Realms, then you will have to get access to the Dream Castle. The Dream Castle is unlocked by progressing through the first two biomes of the game. After unlocking the Dream Castle, you will find various Realm Doors inside it.

These Realm Doors are on each floor of the Dream Castle. To unlock the Hercules Realm, go to the Third Floor of the Disney Castle and interact with the Realm Door on the leftmost side. It will have a tornado-like portrait on it. The realm door will have thorns on it and require 14,000 Dreamlight to remove them and unlock the door.

NOTE: The Dreamlight requirement depends on the number of Realm Doors you have unlocked.

Unlocking the Hercules Realm

Once you have 14,000 Dreamlight, make your way to the Dream Castle. Go up the staircase and interact with the Realm Door that has thunder-like portrait symbol on it. It will remove the Night Thorns from the door, and you will get to talk with Merlin. It will initiate the “Moonlighting As A Hero”, the first main Realm quest.

From here, you can enter the realm and pursue the Hercules Realm storyline.
