Let the Games Begin is an event quest for Oogie Boogie in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is the Week 5 quest, following the Rescue Mission quest. Similar to the previous quest, this new quest is a challenge from Oogie Boogie. Players must participate in Oogie Boogie’s challenges to unlock him at the end of the Week 6 quest. Let the Games Begin Quest Walkthrough – Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting the Let the Games Begin quest requires you to read the mail from Oogie Boogie. Go to your house and open the Mailbox to read the “Let’s make a deal, shall we?” message from Oogie Boogie. Claim the “Wheel Cog” attached to the message to initiate the quest.

Craft a Genuinely Lucky Wheel for Oogie Boogie

Go over to a Crafting Station and interact with it. Navigate to the Oogie Boogie request to find the recipe for the Lucky Wheel. It costs 6 Lucky Wheel Cogs, which you already have claimed from the mail.

Give Oogie Boogie the Genuinely Lucky Wheel

Once you have the Genuinely Lucky Wheel, go into Scrooge’s Store and through the Strange Mirror. Head up the stairs and find Oogie Boogie near his old Lucky Wheel. Speak with Oogie Boogie to give him the Genuinely Lucky Wheel.

Earn Oogie Boogie Tiles by Playing Mini-games

You need to play four different games to earn 4 Oogie Boogie Tiles. The games are as follows.

Try Your Luck at the Genuinely Lucky Wheel

Interact 5 times with the Genuinely Lucky Wheel beside Oogie Boogie to win prizes. On the fifth chest, you will get the Oogie Boogie Tile.

Locate the Hidden Smiles

Five hidden smiles are scattered around the first floor of Mirror Lair. These are the green smiles that you need to find and remove. Here are all the locations.

1. On the lower dice beside Oogie Boogie.
2. On the skeleton to the left of the dice.
3. Go to the other side of the floor to find the smile on the wall beside the skeletons.
4. On the clock behind the tiles mini-game.
5. On the wall inside the whack-a-pumpkin game.

Upon removing the fifth smile, you will get the Oogie Boogie Tile.

Fish for the Tile in Lava Pond

Go to the ground floor of Mirror Lair and fish in the Lava Pond. Cast the line into the lava bubbles to fish for the Oogie Boogie Tile.

Play Some Rounds of Whack-a-Pumpkin

Go up to the first floor and interact with the switch at the center to start the whack-a-pumpkin game. Equip the pickaxe and smash the pumpkins inside the area. Break 10 pumpkins to complete the game. Once done, you can pick up the final Oogie Boogie tile at the game’s entrance.

Add the Oogie Boogie Tiles to the Tile Mini-game

After collecting all Oogie Boogie Tiles, go to the right on the first floor to find the tile mini-game. Interact with it and add all four tiles. Once done, you need to use the shovel on the tiles to create a perfect image of Oogie Boogie. The neon green shade with no bugs is the perfect portrait of Oogie Boogie.

Speak to Oogie Boogie

After completing the tile mini-game, more rifts will open in the Mirror Lair. Go and speak with Oogie Boogie about the rifts. After the conversation, escape the Mirror Lair through the Strange Mirror, and the quest will conclude.

Completing the Let the Games Begin quest for Oogie Boogie rewards you with a “Lucky Wheel” item.
