In today’s Disney Dreamlight Valley showcase stream, the Devs revealed a ton of exciting upcoming content, including a free new update and the next major expansion. The highlight of the showcase was the Keepsake Sea, a new upcoming DLC that confirms five new characters, new gameplay features, and more. An exciting thing for fans is that Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Keepsake Sea Expansion releases on November 18, 2026, just a month away.

What is the Keepsake Sea Expansion About

The Keepsake Sea is an ocean full of adventure off the coast of Dreamlight Valley. Players exploring this new world will hear the echoes of the past that hint at its history. This new adventure begins by discovering a mysterious statue on Dazzle Beach. Players will find a message at the statue, stating that an old friend is stranded in a faraway kingdom. As players reach the Keepsake Sea, they will discover the guardians. Players must awaken the guardians from their slumber to venture forth in the kingdom.

All Biomes and Characters in the Keepsake Sea Expansion

The Keepsake Sea Expansion includes five exclusive characters that players meet and unlock as they venture through the new kingdom. There are three biomes in the Keepsake Sea, where players will meet the new characters.

Players will arrive at the Shipwreck Shores first, where they will meet two characters.

  • Milo Thatch from Disney’s Atlantis: The Lost Empire
  • Captain Jack Sparrow from Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean

After the Shipwreck Shores, players will arrive at the Candy Cove biome, where they will meet two new characters.

  • Megara from Disney’s Hercules
  • Captain Hook from Disney’s Peter Pan

Lastly, the players will arrive at the Kingdom of Oublié, where they will meet Wendy from Disney’s Peter Pan.

All three of the biomes are unique, with their own environment. Not only that, but each biome has an underwater area to explore and decorate. Players will unlock their Merfolk form and dive into the underwater areas to explore them. Not only that, but players will also run into Dory from Disney and Pixar’s Finding Nemo. She will help you navigate the underwater areas of the biomes.

Your Very Own Ship

Another great feature of The Keepsake Sea expansion is the ship. Every player will get their own ship that they can use to sail around Keepsake Sea. Players can utilize the ship’s crane to salvage items from the water, customize its sail, and flag. Moreover, they can even bring two Villagers on the ship as crewmates.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
