The Dreamlight Parks Fest event is live now until June 17, 2025, in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is a returning event from last year with all new content, including new quests, new crafting items, new accessory items, and new village tasks. Moreover, players can participate in this event by completing the daily and weekly quests. Throughout this event, players will earn buttons, which they can use to craft Popcorn Buckets and complete the duties. For both old and new players, there are a couple of new quests for this year’s Dreamlight Parks Fest event. This guide will walk you through the Dreamlight Parks Fest: Critter Snaps quest for Mirabel in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete the Dreamlight Parks Fest: Critter Snaps Quest

Starting the Quest

The Dreamlight Parks Fest: Critter Snaps is the new friendship quest for Mirabel, available only during the Dreamlight Parks Fest event. To initiate this quest, players must first complete the initial event quest, Dreamlight Parks Fest. Once done, speak with Mirabel and select the Critter Snaps quest option. It will trigger the new quest, requiring you to take a photo of Mirabel with all types of Squirrels.

Take a photo of Mirabel with the Critters

Mirabel will ask you to take a photo of her with all types of Squirrels in the Valley. There are five different types of Squirrels that you can find in the Plaza biome of the Valley. However, every type of Squirrel spawns on a certain day.

NOTE: This quest will take you multiple days to complete due to the unavailability of squirrels.

The White Squirrel is the rarest squirrel critter in Disney Dreamlight Valley, as it only visits the Valley on Sunday.

TIP: The best day to complete the Dreamlight Parks Fest: Critter Snaps quest is Sunday. However, it will still take you a couple of logins at different times to complete the quest.

Make sure to keep Mirabel alongside you whenever you are looking for the squirrels. Ask Mirabel to hang out and then look for the squirrels. Moreover, keep the squirrel and Mirabel in the camera frame to count the photo. Upon taking the photos of Mirabel with the squirrels, the quest will conclude.
