DREDGE: The Iron Rig – How to Reach the Iron Rig

The Iron Rig is the second DLC of DREDGE featuring a brand-new side story that players can uncover at any time during their main story playthrough of the game. Accessing the DLC (The Iron Rig) content will require players to first find and reach the Iron Rig location on the world map.

This guide will help you reach the Iron Rig location in DREDGE to initiate the DLC content.

How to Reach the Iron Rig in DREDGE: The Iron Rig

The Iron Rig is a big metal structure in the open water exclusive to the owners of The Iron Rig expansion. Without The Iron Rig expansion bought and installed, players will not be able to find and pursue the brand-new story.

Once players have bought and installed the expansion, they can find the Iron Rig on the northern side of the map between the Twisted Strand and the Devil’s Spine locations. The exact coordinates of the Iron Rig structure are J-15. Most of the players will start from the Greater Marrow docking point in The Marrows location, head in the north direction and you will see the Iron Rig in the distance.

However, since it is the most northern point of the map, reaching it will take you some time and require you to use the Haste ability. Make sure that you have unlocked the Haste ability by progressing in the main story before you set your sail for the Iron Rig.

Upon reaching the Iron Rig, dock at the docking point to initiate the DLC story by meeting Foreman, a worker at the Rig. He will ask for your help to power up the Rig which initiates the first main pursuit of the DLC.
