E3 2020 officially announces its cancellation

After many rumors, the E3 of this 2020 made its cancellation official due to the outbreak of coronavirus that affects the world.

Through a press release, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) event organizers have informed this decision.

After a careful consultation with our member companies regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry – our fans, our employees, our exhibitors and our E3 partners for a long time – we have made the difficult decision to cancel E3 2020 , scheduled for June 9 -11 in Los Angeles.

Our team will communicate directly with exhibitors and attendees with information on how to provide full refunds.

We are also exploring options with our members to coordinate an online experience to show ads and industry news in June 2020. Updates will be shared on E3expo.com.

We thank everyone who shared their views on the reinvention of E3 this year. We look forward to offering you E3 2021 as a reinvented event that brings fans, media and industry together in a showcase that celebrates the global video game industry. ”

I enjoy playing games, and gaming is a passion of mine. Among my favorite games are Tears of the Kingdom, GTA, and Cyberpunk.
