Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy is a Boss and one of the Demi-gods in Elden Ring. He is the true form of God-Devouring because Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy has taken over his body. Strangest Boss among all the bosses. After completing Volcano Manor Quest you will be able to find this boss. This is not an optional Boss. This is not an optional Boss you must have to defeat this Boss.
You can find Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy in the lobby of Volcano Manor by taking a right down the corridor. Heads towards Prison Town Church and then Guest Hall site of grace. Next, you have to find God-skin Noble and defeat this enemy in the church. Simply if you do enough invasion as asked by the women In the Volcano Manor. Then you will be invited to meet him after that you can fight him. Talisman of this location will be dropped by Farum Azula in Limgrave.
How to Defeat
Before fighting this Boss you have to equip a weapon called Serpent Hunter. Which you will find in the battle arena of Rykard’s near entrance. This will be the most effective weapon during the fight with Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy because it has a long-range attack.
In the first phase, the boss has a few attacks it can slam his head once or twice even three times. You have to wait for the boss to open his mouth once opens his mouth dodge and attack that’s how you can give him a lot of damage. Throw poison and throw fire while rolling around. If you understand this pattern you can easily survive the first round.
In the second phase, you have to stand far away from the boss not too far away because the boss has lava around him that can give you damage when he slams on the ground. In the second phase, the boss has the sword in his right and also throws fire from his mouth. The attacks pattern also going to change in this phase. The boss will randomly slam and use his sword at the same time which is a little tricky to defend. The boss will also chase you one thing you will notice lava will also change its position within the boss. You can roll around and keep a distance from the boss to dodge his attacks. At the end of the fight, large rocks will appear and explode, and also the skulls will not touch but distract you from the fight.
At the end of this fight, you will be rewarded with the Remembrance of the Blasphemous, 130,000 Runes, and also the Rykard’s Great Rune.
This will help you to remove negative status, apply temporary buffs and DE buffs, and restore the properties of recovering HP.
