Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has its own Variant of Pontiff Sulyvahn

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is just one day away from Worldwide release. Bandai Namco released a launch trailer of Shadow of the Erdtree earlier today revealing new landscapes and several bosses to celebrate the release of the highly anticipated expansion. One of the revealed bosses that caught the eyes of many veteran Souls players is reminiscent of Pontiff Sulyvahn, a boss from Dark Souls 3.

Pontiff Sulyvahn is considered one of the toughest bosses in all of the Dark Souls series wielding two greatswords with Magic and Fire characteristics. Well, the launch trailer of Elden Ring DLC shows a glimpse of something identical, leaving players both excited and frightened. However, the name of the boss reminiscent of Pontiff Sulyvahn in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is Rellana, Twin Moon Knight.

By the looks of the boss, it is uncertain that this boss might have the same move set as Pontiff but I can assure you that he might have some devastating attacks of magic and fire hidden up his sleeves that players will get to witness once they encounter him in the DLC.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree launches on June 21^st, 2024.
