Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree will Feature 10 Bosses in Total

With the recent Elden Ring event, a lot of new information has come out for the highly anticipated Elden Ring’s DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree. Additions like Difficulty Modifiers, Eight new Weapon Types, and even the total number of bosses that players will encounter throughout the DLC.

As per the previews of Shadow of the Erdtree that came out after the event, GameSpot and other gaming websites have confirmed that the Shadow of the Erdtree will feature 10 bosses throughout its narrative. It does not sound enough compared to the base game, but if we look at the previous DLCs of other games from FromSoftware like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, both of the DLCs were amazing despite the low number of bosses.

Furthermore, the confirmed 10 bosses aren’t even mandatory, meaning that some of the encounters will be optional. However, the exact number of bosses that are mandatory for ending the story of Shadow of the Erdtree hasn’t been revealed.
