The new multiplayer battle royale party game, Fall Guys Ultimate Knockout, is now available to play on PC and PS4, and if you have PS Plus, the game will even be free for you to download this month.
Since its release on August 4, Fall Guys has become a bit of a phenomenon on PlayStation 4 and PC, garnering over 1.5 million downloads on PlayStation 4 and breaking over 100,000 concurrent players on Steam, making it publisher Devolver Digital’s biggest launch for a game ever. But all this hype is causing some serious FOMO for those on other systems, leaving them wondering if they will ever be able to get in on the fun.
If you’re wondering about whether Fall Guys is coming to Switch or not, we have that answer here for you.
Will Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout be released for Nintendo Switch?
The answer is yes, Fall Guys will be released for Nintendo Switch If Demand Is High Enough. In an FAQ on Mediatonic’s website, it all depends on how much demand there is for it elsewhere.
Are there any plans for an Xbox or Switch release?
To start with, Fall Guys will only be available on PS4 and Steam. We’d love to bring the game to other platforms further down the line. Please let us know on Twitter and Discord which platforms you’d like us to release on next – we’d love to see how much demand there is!
When will Fall Guys be released for Switch?
Chances are demand isn’t a problem as it feels like everyone wants to play Fall Guys right now. As for how long that wait will be is something else. Xbox and Switch players might want to look back at how long they had to wait for the Rocket League for an idea of how long it might take.
Rocket League arrived on PS4 and PC in the summer of 2015. While it only took seven months to find its way onto Xbox One, it would be well over two years before it could be played on Switch. Hopefully, the wait for Fall Guys on Switch won’t be quite as long, as it is very much in keeping with the rest of Nintendo’s fun and colorful library.
