Far Far West: Best Way to Level Up Character
Discover the best way to level up your character in Far Far West, allowing you to earn 900 Hero XP in under three minutes per run.
Leveling up your character in roguelikes or extraction shooters is the core way of progression. Far Far West follows the same progression system, requiring you to level up your character or hero to get permanent upgrades and prestige levels. The game rewards with Hero XP at the end of every run, requiring the players to do repeatable runs to farm the XP and level up the character. However, there is a much simpler way to earn Hero XP quickly and level up the character than doing long runs. In this guide, we will tell you the best way to level up your character in Far Far West.
Best Way to Level Up Character in Far Far West

The best method to farm Hero XP and level up your hero/character in Far Far West is to complete the Tutorial repeatedly. Far Far West rewards Hero XP every time you complete its tutorial. It does not matter whether you have completed runs on all of the maps or are a new player; you will earn 900 Hero XP every time you complete the tutorial.
Far Far West’s tutorial puts you in a small run, where you get to experience most of the basic mechanics. For farming Hero XP, you do not have to follow the objectives of the tutorial; you can skip through all of it and go straight to the boss to defeat it, and then call the extraction to complete the tutorial.
Tutorial Run Setup for Farming Hero XP

Mainly, you want to jump and dash through the tutorial and only focus on eliminating the boss, as you cannot complete the tutorial without taking it down. Now, I personally recommend the Shotgun Weapon, and most of your points into the Jump Height and Speed attributes. Moreover, you might want to use the Portal spell to get around the map quickly.
The shotgun is the perfect weapon to take down the tutorial boss easily, due to its serious damage. Once done, head to the extraction and call it. Survive for 30 seconds for the train, and your run is over. This is exactly why this run is more viable than the main runs, as you would have to wait for 90 seconds for the train to arrive.
Once you have a setup with max speed, you can complete the tutorial run in under 3 minutes to farm Hero XP.
