GTA V sold 115 million units

Take-Two Interactive recently reported its quarterly profit with a 74% increase in revenue to $ 859 million. While new Take-Two titles like Borderlands 3, NBA 2K20 and WWE 2K are gaining popularity, GTA V is also gaining strength despite being released about 6 years ago. Borderlands 3 has sold 7 million units worldwide. And NBA 2K20 hit 6 million. Plus Red Dead Redemption 2 hit 26.5 million units.

The outer worlds also performed well and exceed expectations. This game will be released on Nintendo Switch in early 2020.

Zelnick raised its forecast for fiscal 2020 operating results for the quarter.

“Looking to the future, we have the strongest development pipeline in our history, we continue to expand our portfolio through high-quality entertainment, including sequels for our largest franchises, as well as exciting new IP’s,” Zelnick added via TechSpot
