The Winter Mandarin Duck is the fifth Winter Bird for the Winter Frost Season event in Heartopia. It is available from the third week of the event, and finding it is a bit trickier than the rest of the Winter Birds. With the final bird available now, players can earn all 25 gold stars under the bird-watching activity of the Winter Frost season. How to Find Winter Mandarin Duck in Heartopia

Finding the Winter Mandarin Duck is only possible during the Winter Birdwatching Event by Bailey J. You can find Bailey J at the pet shop in the town center. Speak with Bailey J to start the Winter Birdwatching Event. However, before you can start the event, you must complete the initial Winter Birdwatching quest for Bailey J.

NOTE: Starting the event initially will cost you 2,000 Gold. After that, the price will increase by 2,000 every time you start the event. Moreover, Bailey J will host the event by herself every day at 4 PM.

After starting or joining the event, head to the lakes around the town center. This is the area where all Winter Birds will spawn during the event. Equip the scanner from the tool tab and look for the birds in the water. Honestly, the five minutes of the Photography Time phase will only get you other Winter and regular birds. The moment you need to wait for is the “Extra” phase. As the photography time phase ends, the extra phase will begin.

This is the right time to look for the Winter Mandarin Duck. The Winter Mandarin Duck will appear randomly, but it only happens within the Extra Phase. While you are scanning the Winter Mandarin Duck, wait for a pose to capture the photo to get a higher-rating info card. This way, you will earn more gold stars.
