Palia offers a variety of materials for players to acquire that they can use to craft new items. All players have to gather various materials to fulfill the requirements of crafting a new item or completing a certain quest. With the addition of the recent Elderwood expansion, there is an addition of Relics. A new feature that allows players to apply certain buffs to the party. However, getting the Relics initially requires players to get the Enchanting Runestone, a new material. This guide will tell you how to get Enchanting Runestone in Palia.

How to Get the Enchanting Runestone in Palia

The Enchanting Runestone is a new material in Palia that is necessary for crafting a Relic for the first time. There are multiple ways through which players can get an Enchanting Runestone. However, there are only 4 Enchanting Runestones that players can get in total. Here are all the methods to acquire the Enchanting Runestones in Palia.

  1. Purchase from Tamala’s Potion Shop (2)
  2. Offering to an Umbraan Shrine (1)
  3. Completing the “Like A Shiprunt” quest (1)

Purchase Enchanting Runestones from Tamala’s Potion Shop

The primary and easiest way to get an Enchanting Runestone is to purchase it from Tamala’s Potion Shop.

NOTE: Tamala’s Potion Shop becomes available during the Nature of Shadows quest. It is the main story quest in the game. Players must complete the Nature of Shadows quest to have access to Tamala’s Shop.

Access the Potion Shop at the Central Stables area in Elderwood or by speaking with Tamala. It costs 600 Infected Essence for 1 Enchanting Runestone at Tamala’s Potion Shop. You can purchase a total of 2 Enchanting Runestones from the Potion Shop. Fortunately, Infected Essence is quite common in Elderwood, so it will not take you long to farm it. Simply interact with the glowing purple orbs on the ground to collect Infected Essence. Moreover, if you forage any infected gatherables, hunt infected creatures, or catch infected bugs, it will also give some Infected Essence.

Do Offerings to the Umbraan Shrine

Making offerings to Umbraan Shrines is necessary for acquiring Artifacts in Palia. There are 15 Umbraan Shrines throughout the Elderwood map zone. Each Shrine will require 1 or 2 Sacred Flowers as an offering. As you start offering to all of the Shrines, one of the Shrines will give a reward of an Enchanting Runestone.

Complete the Like A Shiprunt Quest

The final Enchanting Runestone is given as a reward to a player upon completing the “Like A Shiprunt” quest. It is a main story quest of the Elderwood expansion in Palia. So, if you progress through the main story and complete the Like A Shiprunt quest, you will get one Enchanting Runestone.

Use of Enchanting Runestones in Palia

The primary use of Enchanting Runestones is to craft the initial tier of each Relic. There are three main Relics in Palia, which are as follows.

  • Bag of Illusion
  • Brighteye Amulet
  • Elderwood Idol

To craft each Relic, you will require 1 Enchanting Runestone along with some other materials. Other than that, there is no specific use of Enchanting Runestones in Palia.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
