The quarantine zone is a treacherous place with various groups of enemies and cults wandering around. Getting into a fight with them without proper weapons can easily end badly for you. Fortunately, there are a number of weapons that you can get in Atomfall, but getting them can be tricky or dangerous. How to Get the Shotgun Early in Atomfall

You can find a Leamington 12 Gauge Shotgun (Rusty) on a dead body inside a house close to the initial bunker. As you get out of the initial bunker to the Slatten Dale map, you will see a Telephone Booth ahead. Follow the road down from the booth, and you will see a couple of houses. The house on the right is where you can meet Nat Buckshaw. He is an NPC that will fill you up on the information that can help you get to the Interchange. The houses on the left are where you can find a dead body with a shotgun. However, the dead body is behind a locked door, and reaching it will require you to go around it.

Here are the simple steps to reach the dead body with a shotgun.

• Crawl through the broken door of the house OR go through the open space in front of the house.
• Here, you will see a broken staircase and a room on the right side.
• Go inside the room to find Water on the ground.
• Climb up the ledge in the room.
• Climb through the window to reach inside the locked room.

Once there, you will see a dead body on the floor leaning against the wall. Loot the body to get the Shotgun, a First Aid Kit, Gunpowder, and a Glass. Moreover, there will be some Shotgun Ammo on the desk beside the body.

After looting everything, open the door and continue ahead. Now, you will have at least a proper weapon to save yourself against the Outlaws in the area.
