Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 offers two big regions within the Kingdom of Bohemia for players to explore. Throughout the whole adventure, players can use their horses to travel quickly from place to place. Moreover, players can also store unnecessary items in a horse’s inventory to manage their inventory space. However, similar to the character’s capacity, the horse also has a carrying capacity. Unlike Henry, the horse’s inventory space does not increase by leveling up the Strength stat. However, there are certain items that can help you increase the horse’s inventory size. How to Increase Horse Carrying Capacity in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

To increase the horse carrying capacity in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, players will have to equip certain items on the horse. There are two different types of items that increase the carrying capacity of the horse. The first main item is the Saddle and the second item is the Caparison or Harness. Out of these two items, the Saddle is the primary item that highly increases the carrying capacity of a horse.

You can purchase the saddles from the saddlers and even some tailors in the Kuttenberg region. The best saddles that you can get for your horse are Dragon Saddle, Cracowian Saddle, and Bravante Saddle. Dragon Saddle and Cracowian Saddle increase the carrying capacity by 200, whereas, Bravante increases it by 180.

NOTE: Saddle affects the speed of the horse.

The second item that increases the carrying capacity is Caparison or a Harness. It is a decorative item for the horse and some of these items can increase carrying capacity by a small number. Mainly, these items increase the courage of the horse. However, not all caparison or harness increase the capacity as most of them decreases the capacity.

NOTE: Caparison or Harness affects the Stamina and Capacity of the horse.

Equipping the Saddle to the Horse in KCD2

After acquiring a Saddle or an item that increases the capacity of the horse, you need to equip it to the horse. To do so, open the inventory and move that specific item to the horse’s inventory. Now, navigate to the horse’s inventory and then select the item to equip it onto the horse.
