Skills allow players to enhance the overall potential of DK to remove the terrain and face the bosses confidently. However, it might take you a lot of time and exploration to get all the Binandium Gems to get every single Skill. That is why it is important to learn how to respec or reset the skill points to reallocate the points into the necessary skills for the journey ahead. How to Respec Skill Points in Donkey Kong Bananza

To respec or reset your skill points in Donkey Kong Bananza, speak to any one of the Giant Elders. These are the same Giant Elders who give you the Bananza Transformation Powers. Go to any one of the Giant Elders and interact with them to get the option to Reset Skills. After selecting the option to reset the skills, all of the spent skill points will be reset. Open the Skills menu by pressing UP on the D-Pad to see all the available Skill Points. From here, you can start reallocating the points into the skills you want.

TIP: Every Layer in the game tends to favor a certain Bananza Power. If you find that respective power not powerful enough for the layer, teleport to any Giant Elder to reset the points.

After resetting the skill points, if you have any extra items like Apple Juice in your inventory, they will convert into Gold. It is because all of your active skills for holding more items will be reset. So, if you want to hold more items again, you have to reactivate the skill and find the items again.

What is the Cost of Respecing Skill Points

Respecing or resetting the skill points costs no Gold or items in Donkey Kong Bananza. All you have to do is go to the Giant Elder and speak to them to reset the skills.

Where to find All the Giant Elders

There are five Giant Elders in total, and each one is located in a certain Layer.

• Kong Elder – Lagoon Layer
• Zebra Elder – Frozen Layer
• Ostrich Elder – Forest Layer
• Elephant Elder – Tempest Layer
• Snake Elder – Radiance Layer

You have to use the Warp Gong to teleport to the discovered layers and go to the one with the Elder. Once there, either travel to the Elder or use the teleport to fast travel.
