How to Unlock Double Jump in The Outer Worlds 2

The worlds in Outer Worlds 2 offer various cities and exploration spots throughout the journey. While you’re going from location to location, you might run into high walls and big gaps. It is safe to think about why you cannot double jump right from the start. Well, the game has everything to your taste, you just have to find it. It is the same case for the Double Jump. Frankly, you can unlock the Double Jump quite early in the game. In this guide, we will tell you how to unlock double jump in The Outer Worlds 2.

How to Unlock Double Jump in The Outer Worlds 2

To get the Double Jump action in The Outer Worlds 2, the player will have to get the P.A.L.E., a pair of Plasma Thruster Boots. It is a unique prototype device, which players can find on a dead body in Spire Grove on Paradise Island, the first Planet.

How to Get to the Spire Grove in The Outer Worlds 2

The Spire Grove is southwest of Fairfield on Paradise Island. If you head down the main road to the left of Fairfield, you will come across a broken elevator on the left side. The elevator is the way to the Spire Grove. You will have to repair the elevator to reach the Spire Grove. Now, to repair the elevator, you must have 3 Points in the Engineering Skill.

I recommend completing a few side quests for the NPCs around Paradise Island. Once you level up a couple of times, spend the Skill Points in the Engineering Skill. After that, you can repair the elevator and reach the Spire Grove.

Now, if you do not want to waste time on completing side quests to get to Spire Grove, there is an alternate route. Go to the elevator area and get up on top of the roof of the left station by jumping over the boxes on the left side. After that, look to the left and jump to the cliffs. Head up and hold jump to get up on a small rock before the ramp. Now, continue jumping up to reach Spire Grove.

Once you are in the Spire Grove, you will hear a few NPCs and witness a falling body from a tower. The person who just fell was Jackson Plum, trying out the P.A.L.E. prototype. Go over to his corpse and loot the P.A.L.E. device. It will unlock the Double Jump action for you.

However, you have to be careful at greater heights. If you miss the landing and begin to fall from greater heights, you will not be able to jump in mid-air.
