Maleficent is one of the new characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley added with the Storybook Vale expansion. She is one of the long-awaited characters in the Dreamlight Valley, and with the new expansion, players will be able to unlock her by completing her series of starting quests. However, since she is exclusive to the expansion, players must own the expansion to discover and unlock her. In this guide, we’ll go over how you can unlock Maleficent in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Unlock Maleficent in Disney Dreamlight Valley

As mentioned above, the first and foremost requirement for unlocking Maleficent is owning the Storybook Vale expansion. Once players have bought the Expansion, they will be able to go to the Storybook Vale, a new world beyond Dreamlight Valley. From here, they need to progress the main story of the Vale to find Maleficent. After that, players need to step into the Unwritten Realms and help Maleficent from being unwritten and bring her to the Vale.

Here are all the main story quests that you need to complete for Maleficent in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Players will first see Maleficent during the Mistress of All Evil quest. As they progress further, they will reach Maleficent’s home and see her vanish. With Part 2 of the Storybook Vale, players will continue the story with the A Storm of Stories quest, which will give players access to the Unwritten Realms. Once there, players have to recover three Maleficent’s Anchor Moments from the Processing Rooms. Each Anchor Moment will require the players to solve a certain puzzle. After bringing all the Anchor Moments, Maleficent will be saved from being unwritten.

Players will then have to speak with the Lorekeeper, and Maleficent will come back to the Vale. She will officially unlock as a villager, and players will be able to pursue friendship quests for her.

Playing Video Games is the very first hobby that I partake in and it became my favorite hobby. Played Unreal Tournament 2004 as my first game which made me a fan of FPS Games. Story and Adventure Games are still my Cup of Tea to go with as they give more detailing to the described worlds and characters. I love to help out my fellow gamers across all over the world by making my publications.
