How to Unlock Pirate Monkey Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s new update, Mysteries of Skull Rock, brings a ton of new cosmetics, items, decorative items, quests, and characters. The Mysteries of Skull Rock update also includes a new Star path. It is a seasonal pass through which players can earn several rewards. One of the most unique rewards in the new Adventures in Never Land Star Path is a Pirate Monkey Companion. How to Unlock Pirate Monkey Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Pirate Monkey Companion is one of the redeemable rewards in the Adventures in Never Land Star Path. Meaning, it can only be obtained from progressing in the new Star Path. Adventures in Never Land Star Path contains several rewards divided among 7 tiers. Players can redeem the rewards using the Event Currency, which is the Compass Tokens. Fortunately, the very first tier of the Star Path includes the Pirate Monkey Companion reward. It requires 50 Compass Tokens to redeem.

The Compass Tokens are earned by completing the daily duties of the Star Path. There are 3 daily duties that players can complete per day with the Regular Star Path. Completing each duty will reward players with 10 – 20 tokens. However, the players who have the Premium Star Path will have access to 6 daily duties, allowing them to farm the tokens quickly.

Upon earning the event currency of the Star Path, go into the Star Path menu and select the ‘Rewards’ tab to redeem the Pirate Monkey Companion.

NOTE: “Now, keep in mind that, like many exclusive previous companions who were a part of the Star Paths, Pirate Monkey is also time-limited. Players can redeem it until the Star Path’s ending time, which is July 30, 2025.”

How to Equip the Pirate Monkey Companion

Equipping the Pirate Monkey Companion will require players to open the “Companions” category. It is under the Wardrobe tab. From there, select the Pirate Monkey to equip it. It will follow the players, and players can freely take pictures with it. Moreover, players can also house the companion in a Companion Home.
