Islands in the Sky is one of the new quests for Merlin added with the latest Sew Delightful update in Disney Dreamlight Valley. It is an introductory quest to the new Floating Islands feature in the game. This guide will walk you through the Islands in the Sky quest for Merlin in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to Complete the Islands in the Sky Quest – Walkthrough

Starting the Quest

The Islands in the Sky quest becomes available automatically after updating the game to the latest patch. However, if you haven’t completed the story quests for Fairy Godmother, then it will not trigger for you. Make sure to complete the “What’s Left Behind” quest for Fairy Godmother to trigger the Islands in the Sky quest.

Speak to Merlin and Travel to Floating Plaza Island

Go to Merlin and speak with him to learn about the new floating islands. After speaking with Merlin, go to any Wishing Well to travel to the floating Plaza Island. Moreover, you can also do fast travel casually by opening the map. Open the map and press T (PC) to open the Fast Travel menu and then select the Floating Islands tab.

Decorate the floating Plaza Island

After traveling to the Plaza Island, speak with Merlin and he will ask you to decorate it and bring the library to the island. Now, open the Furniture Menu to place any 5 items and the Dreamlight Library.

NOTE: You can find the Dreamlight Library under the House section of the Furniture Menu.

For the regular decorative items, place any 5 items under the Requests section. Once done, speak with Merlin to conclude the quest.

Rewards

Completing the Islands in the Sky quest will reward you with the following items.

  • 300 Friendship Points
  • Unlock floating islands
