Marvel Rivals is currently one of the most popular games across the main platforms. This new 6v6 hero shooter allows players to play with their favorite heroes and villains from the Marvel Universe. As the new year has just begun, NetEase has some planned updates to release for Marvel Rivals including the new Season 1. The starting date of Marvel Rivals Season 1 is set for January 9 at 10 PM (PST), the same day when the battle pass of current Season 0 will end.

No new maps are officially planned for the upcoming Season, but a leak shared almost a month ago shows the codename of three different maps. The game’s code images show the codenames of maps as Krakoa and Arakkoe. These maps reference the islands that broke away from Okkara (X-Men) and New York City.
