Masahiro Sakurai shares, on the occasion of Kid Icarus: Uprising’s 9th anniversary, that a sequel or remake would be difficult to release

Kid Icarus: Uprising is a shooter/action title, which was released on 22 March 2012 in Japan, making today less than 9 years since its release (it was released a day later in the West). It is a title developed by Sora Ltd. and distributed by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
Well, on the occasion of its 9th anniversary, Masahiro Sakurai has decided to share via Twitter a screenshot of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate where Pit appears and comments on how he receives many requests from fans for a sequel or a remake, although he says that’s going to be difficult.
Here’s the message:
Today, in 2012, “Shin Hikari Mythos Palutena no Kagami” (Kid Icarus: Uprising) was released.
We’ve received a lot of requests for a sequel or remake, but it’s going to be difficult…
Pit’s new design is a spin-off of the one we made for Smash Bros. Brawl.
