New alleged leak claims Pokémon Diamond and Pearl remake will be announced very soon
On September 28, 2006, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl was released in Japan, so this year was no less than 14 years since its release. Notably, they represented the first major release of the main Pokémon franchise for the Nintendo DS and introduced 107 new Pokémon, including Dialga and Palkia. It is one of the most successful releases in the entire saga, specifically the fourth best-selling, only behind Pokémon Red/Blue/Green, Pokémon Gold and silver, and Pokémon sword and Shield.
Well, a leak that has recently appeared on the Internet claims that Game Freak is preparing to announce the next title of the series during its New Year’s Eve Space Sunrise Live event on December 31.
These are the details that have been shared:
- The leak appeared on R / GamingLeaksAndRumours on December 28 and contains a whole host of alleged details for the upcoming title.
- Interestingly, the leaker claims that the remake will use the Pokémon sword and shield engine and incorporate its Dynamax mechanics while continuing to discard Megaevolucions and Z Moves.
- The Sinnoh region remake will get new regional forms like “a plant/fire type Cacturne with a new evolution, and an ice Furret that looks like a scarf.”
- Finally, the rumor claims that the revealing video will show Arceus getting an epic Gigamax form.
It should be remembered that this is not the first time that a leak claims that a remake of Pokémon diamonds and Pearl is on the way. However, there is nothing confirmed, so as always we recommend you take this as it is, a rumor and do not throw the bells on the fly until it is officially confirmed (if confirmed). On the other hand, this year’s search suggestions point out that the Japanese have no hope that the remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl will be announced. Only time will tell.
