Nintendo Boasts Switch Games Success With 37M Mario Kart 8 Deluxe And 34M Animal Crossing: New Horizons Sold
Nintendo released its quarterly report this morning, highlighting the success of its Switch family of consoles and the latest financials. At the same time, sales information for many games has been updated. Key releases continue to gain the attention of new audiences even years after release.
In the ranking of the main hits published by Nintendo on Switch, the number one blockbuster remains Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – sales of the racing monster reached 37.08 million copies as of June 30, 2021 (if we count sales with the version for Wii U, then they passed the value 45 million ). The second line with a score of 33.89 million is taken by the life simulator Animal Crossing: New Horizons and the top three is closed by the fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – it has already been bought 24.77 million times.
