Dark City is the introductory chapter for Nobody Wants to Die and highlights the situation of Detective, James Karra. This guide will walk you through the first chapter of Nobody Wants to Die.

After the introductory cutscene, press the respective keys corresponding to the dialogues on the screen to pursue the conversation with Rachel, James’ Wife who is dead but appears when James is depressed. While speaking with Rachel, Madness takes over James and as the cutscene ends, look around the car to interact with various items.

Eventually, the Ear Piece will ring and James will wear it. Now, speak with the Police Chief and pursue the conversation by selecting the dialogue on the screen. Once done, interact with the lock on the left side to open the door and you will witness Times Square in the year 2329.

The Police Chief will introduce you to your working partner, Sara Kai. Pursue the conversation with Sara with dialogue and she will ask you to get the address for the nearest Post Office. Look to the left side and examine the HERM building to give the address to Sara.

As you get back into the car, start the engine to make your way to the Post Office. Upon reaching the post office, you will get various options for waiting in line. Choose any set of options you see fit and once you have reached the terminal, get out of the car and interact with the Postal Terminal to get the package.

After getting the package, get back into the car and interact with the Repark switch. Once the car stops, look to the right and interact with the parcel to open it. Now, go through all three files one by one to know the victim, mission, and the location.

Once done, go through the dialogues with Sara and a cutscene will begin concluding the first chapter of Nobody Wants to Die.
