Palia: Ancient Adaptation Quest Guide

Ancient Adaptation is one of the discovery quests in Palia, added with the Royal Highlands expansion. This quest begins by collecting an Ancient Paybill at the Old Amphitheatre in the Royal Highlands adventure zone. In this guide, we will walk you through the Ancient Adaptation quest in Palia.

How to Complete the Ancient Adaptation Quest Guide in Palia

Starting the Quest

To start the Ancient Adaptation quest in Palia, you have to collect the Ancient Paybill in the Old Amphitheatre area in Royal Highlands. Go to the east side of the central structure in the Old Amphitheatre to find the paybill on the wall. Collect the Paybill, and the quest will initiate automatically.

Bring the Paybill to Binnie

As the quest begins, you need to show the paybill to Binnie. You can find Binnie over at the Royal Highlands Central Stables location. Go to the central stables and speak with Binnie. Unfortunately, Binnie will not accept the paybill; instead, she will ask you to gather all types of actor masks.

Gather all five actor masks from Jaakcats

You need to gather the five following actor masks by hunting Jaakcats in Royal Highlands.

• Kitsuu Mask
• Ant Mask
• Bird Mask
• Human Mask
• Lizard Mask

Search and hunt the Masked Jaakcats in the Royal Highlands to have a high chance of acquiring these masks. The Jaakcats with orange, green, and blue elemental masks will have a chance to drop these masks. Moreover, there is a slight chance that the normal Jaakcats will drop one of these masks. A few of the locations where you can find these Jaakcats easily are as follows.

• Royal Hunting Grounds
• Steps of Renova
• Amber Lake
• Standing Cliffs

Make sure to bring a lot of arrows, as you will be hunting a bunch of Jaakcats for the masks.

Return to Binnie

After gathering all five actor masks, go back to Binnie. Speak with her and go through the dialogues to conclude the quest.
