Palia: How to Craft Makeshift Tent
The new players in the world of Palia will unfortunately not have any place to live. To get started in Kimila Village, players must find a place to stay where they can store all of their gatherings and continue making progress in the village. The very first place that every player will have to make is a Makeshift Tent. An old-looking tent but it can work in the early game.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to Craft a Makeshift Tent.
How to Craft Makeshift Tent in Palia
As players meet with Ashura, the leader of the Foraging Guild, he will tell players to go meet with Hodari as he is outside one of the blank plots in Kimila Village. By meeting Hodari and completing his starting quest, players will unlock the Worktable which is an essential Workstation that is required for crafting new furniture, items, etc. Players will also have to craft the Makeshift Tent on Worktable. However, players will be required to gather the required resources for it which are the following.
- 25x Sapwood
- 15x Plant Fiber
To get both of the required resources, players will be needing an Axe Tool which can be obtained from Ashura. After getting the Axe, equip it and cut down the trees and bushes in the plot area to get Sapwood and Plant Fiber. Once players have gathered the required number of these resources, they can craft it by selecting the “Make” option under the Makeshift Tent recipe.
How to Place Makeshift Tent
After crafting the Makeshift Tent, players need to press the respective shortcut key on the keyboard to equip the Makeshift Tent. Players will go into the building mode and will be able to move around the Makeshift Tent with Mouse. Press the Q/E Button to rotate and press the Left-Click button to place it down.
The Makeshift Tent has a decent area inside it and players can easily place down a couple of Furniture items and Wooden Storage Bins for storing unnecessary items.
