Palia: How to Get Ectoplasm

Palia’s new update, Fall’s Faire: Frights & Delights, is now live, allowing players to enjoy the perfect Halloween season. Spiritfest is back in Palia, and this time with more spooky items, even new materials. One of the new materials, exclusive to Spiritfest, is Ectoplasm. In this guide, we will explain how to get Ectoplasm in Palia.

How to Get Ectoplasm in Palia

Ectoplasm is a new material in Palia that can be found during the Spiritfest. It is an uncommon rarity material and very rare to come by. The primary method to get Ectoplasm is by foraging resources during Spiritfest. It is an RNG method, as there are no guaranteed drops. Pick up any resource you see: mushrooms, wood, flowers, minerals, and so on. If you are lucky, the Ectoplasm will drop alongside the resources you are foraging for.

I managed to get 3 Ectoplasms by mining the Jadium nodes and foraging them. However, it took about 30 minutes of mining and foraging. The other forageables did not bring any luck whatsoever, for now.

Another temporary method is to get 10x Ectoplasm through Twitch drops. Currently, Palia is hosting new Twitch drops for the update. Watch any creator playing Palia for 1 hour and claim 10x Ectoplasm and 5x Tattered Cloth from the Drops Inventory. After that, launch and log in to the game and head to the ‘News’ tab to redeem the items.

Although it is not a permanent method, it does boost your progress in getting Ectoplasms and Tattered Cloth.

How to Use Ectoplasm in Palia

Ectoplasm is primarily used as a requirement for the Bulletin Board Spiritfest. You need to turn in 30 Ectoplasms in the Ghostly Evidence bundle at the Bulletin Board. It is a hefty number, so it might take some time and a lot of RNG to complete.
